About the Oxford Foundry

The Foundry is free and open to all Oxford students to help you build the entrepreneurial skills and mindsets employers are looking for, whatever career you have ahead, or to build and run a venture of your own. We run workshops on idea generation, design thinking, tech and coding. We work with student societies to give OXFO booster grants to engage people in entrepreneurial activity, and to gain leadership experience through our OXFO Student Advisory Board. We run the University's All-Innovate idea competition, and events with inspirational entrepreneurs to help you be inspired to build on your ideas, and we run an Accelerator grow successful new ventures. Ventures on our accelerator have so far raised £27 million and created 104 new job opportunities. We were opened in October 2017 by CEO of Apple, Tim Cook.
